7 steps to Freedom

Amongst all the information available it is easy to get lost or believe that healing or freedom is something complicated, difficult or hard to achieve.

While the debate can be endless, I simply wonder - can “letting go” can be actually easy, fun and simple?

Amongst the many healing methods this is just one way that works for me.

Feel free to try or get curious and explore the teachings of my teachers more deeply (info below).

  1. It begins by observing daily life, developing what is called the “observer” perspective- a neutral person behind the eyes who is not disturbed by the emotions and happenings, instead - any disharmony or struggle is a place for curiosity, something is hidden there for me- in plain sight- a jewel.

  2. After observing myself for a while, I pick one belief that seems to be repeating itself.

  3. I take a moment to unpick the thoughts/habbit/patterns this consists of (e.g. To be happy I must be wealthy > To be wealthy I must work hard > People who are hard working=good people=others are lazy time wasters >>>etc) (There tends to be a whole chain of thoughts that clings on each other creating the way we see the world=Belief) (If the unpicking of Belief doesn't come naturally - I suggest The Work by B.Katie as it is most helpful to get started with the 4 questions)

  4. I make a decision that I want it gone. If I have understood through my contemplation how this Belief is affecting my life, the wish for it to change comes naturally.

  5. This step is the fun part and something that developed as I was exploring the energy work- I see the thought leave my “field” and CLAP my hands and see it dissolve into cosmic nothingness. There are many ways to do this part though, you can write it down and burn it, for example. I like the clap for it reminds me how actually funnily simply it can be to squish energy and I also like the physical aspect if it.

  6. I sit there in the empty and pure space that the dissolved belief left, I feel into that space and savour it. The freedom to be so simply. I see life as it can be without this unnecessary information.

  7. Inhale, exhale (with a sigh). So be it. I smile in gratitude and enjoy freedom from limiting thoughts.

For further guidance I recommend to dive deep into the work by Byron Katie: https://thework.com/

Hope you found this tiny insight helpful, let me know in the comments if you have done something like this or are going to try :)

I truly wish for you to find a way that works for uniquely you and to let go of all that is stopping you from your highest potential!

And please remember- information is really useless unless you use it ;)

Laima
