Stone Collection "HOME" Mug
These minimal stoneware cups belong to our enduring STONE Collection — a range that honours raw earth, quiet simplicity, and the beauty of organic imperfection.
A collection defined by softly asymmetric silhouettes, grounded forms, and a raw hand-polished exterior that feels like holding a small river stone.
The HOME form is a contemporary low mug shaped to feel grounding and instinctively comforting.
With its wide, rounded silhouette and raw stone exterior, it becomes a quiet tribute to simplicity — a vessel designed not just for drinking, but for slowing down.
Wheel-thrown by Laima in her rural Latvian studio, each piece rests naturally in the palms.
The soft, cradled shape invites warmth, stillness, and presence — a small sanctuary for your morning coffee or evening tea.
Handmade from natural grey stoneware and high-fired, each mug becomes non-porous, strong, and ready for everyday use or restaurant settings.
The exterior remains raw and vitrified: earthy, honest, softly matte.
Inside, a warm beige glaze moves with subtle crystalline crackle — pooling where thick, revealing warm clay tones where thin.
A living surface that echoes ash-fired aesthetics and the quiet passage of time.
Capacity: approx. 350–400 ml (≈ 11.8–13.5 fl oz)
Height: ~8 cm (≈ 3.15 in)
Diameter: ~12 cm (≈ 4.7 in)
Expect variations in tone, texture, and quiet irregularities in form — the hallmark of handmade work.
High-fired to 1260°C, the stoneware becomes dense, vitrified, and non-porous — built for everyday use while retaining its earthy, tactile presence. The glazes are lead- and cadmium-free, and the mugs are fully dishwasher safe.
Please allow 4–12 weeks making time as your vessel is formed, glazed and fired through a slow, intentional process that honours material, form and artisan rhythm.
Thank you for supporting slow, mindful craftsmanship and women-led studio.
