get started on your glaze discovery journey
GLAZE CAN RUIN A PERFECT PIECE…BUT IT CAN ALSO TRANSFORM AN AVERAGE BOWL INTO FINE ART PIECE
I have destroyed ohh so many pots in my 13 year pottery journey. Mostly it was due to badly applied/ wrongly fired/ ugly glaze. All that effort and resources to end up in the trash with all the rest of the steep “learning curve”... I hope your journey is more smooth and pleasant :)
In this course I share my experience and journey with you open-hearted. All the things I wish I knew in the beginning.
I will NOT cover in this course complex chemistry and glaze ingredient origins. This course is designed to get your started with following a recipe, applying it successfully and the first steps of altering colourants in the glaze via line-blending method to get your own unique recipes and take control over your glaze finish.
I know that in the beginning glazing is the scariest part of the whole pottery deal.
I am here to give you all the right info, to give you a GREEN LIGHT to just GIVE IT A GO!
It’s actually the most exciting and fun part of the ceramics (at least to me) :)
See you in class!
