Coiling large scale work
Class is 6 hours long, in coiling technique to create a medium-large vase or flower pot (25-30cm height).
This is individual class, suitable also for couples or small group up to 4 persons (pricing for 1 person)
The course is organised on request as it is an individual course.
Unless you have a specific idea you want to realise, we make the pot up to 30cm height. There are several "waiting times" in between the layers to dry so it is very relaxing paced.
There is tea and coffee available throughout the day. I build a few demo pieces alongside you, so while waiting for your layers to dry you can also watch me work or simply enjoy the studio!
Glazing in done after the piece is bisqued in the colour of your choice (you can choose any of the special effect glazes like lava, bronze etc). Shipping is normally 4weeks after - and costs will depend on your location.
Included all material and firing fees as well as glazing. You end the course with a gorgeous large centerpiece for you home as well as skills to continue making.
We recommend to take pack lunch with you so you can take a break in the middle in our lounge area. Usually class is from 10:00-16:00, with time in-between to have lunch and enjoy the surroundings.
